Throw your lid in the top rack of the dishwasher and hand wash your bottle with non-abrasive dish soap and warm water. Do not bleach. Do not freeze.

"I love this octopus water bottle because they are the coolest animals. However, I've had it for almost a year and the graphics are starting to chip off. Maybe that's normal, but I wouldn't think so. It's disappointing because I only hand-wash the bottle and usually don't even put it in the sink with other things for it to bang up against. A live octopus's arm can grow back, but I'm afraid that won't be the case for the octopuses on my bottle."

"I'm writing this review because i just dropped my octopus water bottle on concrete for about the millionth time and i picked it up and it just has the slightest scratch. ive dropped it so many times and its dents and scratches are still minimal and it still functions perfectly well. i've also gotten a lot of compliments on the octopus design and i love octopi so it works out great. i once dropped this water bottle on the floor of my school bus without noticing and it rolled into my sisters feet the next day and she brought it home to me, the ice still had not melted. ive also noticed it doesnt get dirty/moldy on the inside even though i usually forget to wash it. the insulation is great, quality is great and overall it is definitely worth the price. i hope i never lose this water bottle and if i do i would probably buy another one."
